Wallet Microfinance Institution Share Company was established in accordance with proclamation No. 626/2009 and revised proclamation No. 1164/2019 of Nation Bank of Ethiopia by 12 visionary shareholders, and licensed by Nation Bank of Ethiopia on May 11, 2022 with the purpose of to provide financial and non-financial services to active poor and missing middle income urban and rural societies in order to contribute to development of the Ethiopia economy.
