In response to Ethiopia's rapid economic growth and the rising demand for comprehensive coverage, the shareholders recognized an immense potential to expand. In August 2012, the company strategically transitioned into a composite insurer by integrating non-life (general) insurance products into its portfolio. This major milestone marked the birth of Ethio Life and General Insurance S.C.
