API & Integration Engineer
Job Description
- Educational Background: BSc Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in API development, systems integration, or software engineering. (Experience integrating with core banking systems, payment switches, or mobile banking platforms is strongly preferred).
- Core Competencies:
- REST/SOAP API design and development; JSON/XML, message queues, and integration patterns.
- Programming languages such as Java, .NET, Python, or Node.js.
- API gateways/middleware tools and database/SQL skills.
- API security protocols (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, TLS).
- Agile/DevOps practices and version control.
- Quantity: 1
- Salary: Attractive Salary Scale and Conducive Working Environment.
- Duty Station: Addis Ababa.
