Job Description
The Corporate Business Relationship Manager - IFB is responsible for managing, developing, and expanding a portfolio of corporate clients by providing Islamic Finance Banking (IFB) products and solutions while promoting other bank products and services. The role focuses on building strong customer relationships, acquiring new clients, increasing business opportunities, managing customer expectations, and providing financial advice to support customer growth and business objectives.
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Marketing Management, Business Administration, Banking, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Marketing Management, Business Administration, Banking, or a related field is an added advantage.
- Diploma or Certificate in Islamic Banking Finance or a related field is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant banking experience.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a middle management or line management position.
- Experience in corporate banking is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients within assigned sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Promote and sell IFB corporate banking products and other bank services.
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities to increase customer base and revenue.
- Analyze customer needs and provide suitable financial solutions and advisory services.
- Manage customer expectations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor customer portfolios and identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
- Evaluate financing applications and assess customer creditworthiness.
- Structure financing solutions while maintaining compliance with credit policies and risk requirements.
- Monitor financing facilities, identify potential risks, and take appropriate follow-up actions.
- Conduct customer and market analysis to identify business trends and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, and Islamic banking principles.
- Prepare business reports, customer analysis, and performance updates for management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective banking solutions.
