Job Description

The Senior Tax Accountant is responsible for ensuring full compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and regulations. This pivotal role within our Finance Department manages tax planning, reporting, and compliance to minimize risk and ensure the timely submission of all statutory obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tax Compliance: Prepare and file corporate income tax, withholding tax, VAT, payroll taxes, and other applicable statutory filings.
• Tax Planning: Provide advisory support to management to identify tax efficiencies while maintaining 100% compliance.
• Regulatory Coordination: Act as the primary liaison with the Ethiopian Ministry of Revenue and other tax authorities; manage audits and queries.
• Tax Reporting: Maintain precise tax records and documentation schedules for all filings.
• Internal Advisory: Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise management on the implications for business transactions.
