Senior Team Leader – Product Marketing and Promotion

Job Description

• Develop and own the integrated Product Marketing & Promotion Strategy for the Bank’s portfolio, defining positioning, lifecycle management, and the annual promotional plan aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the strategic development and end-to-end execution of integrated go-to-market (GTM) plans for all new product launches and major enhancements, from positioning to post-launch analysis.
• Conduct deep-dive portfolio analysis to identify optimization opportunities and define clear, differentiated value propositions and messaging architectures for each product line and segment.
• Develop and validate the omnichannel media and promotion mix for product campaigns, balancing above-the-line (ATL), below-the-line (BTL), and digital channels for optimal reach and ROI.
• Serve as the primary marketing business partner to Retail, Corporate, and SME sales divisions, developing comprehensive sales enablement kits and leading training to equip frontline staff.
• Ensure all product marketing materials and promotional activities fully comply with National Bank of Ethiopia advertising regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters is strongly preferred with Minimum of 10 years of experience in product marketing, brand management, or marketing communications within financial services or FMCG, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing both strategy and campaign execution. Must have a proven track record of launching and growing financial products.
