- Manage the day to day operation of the bank's primary and disaster recovery data centers, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring 24/7 availability of power, cooling, connectivity and physical security.
- Oversee servers, storage systems, virtualization, cloud computing and containerized infrastructure supporting core banking and critical enterprise applications.
- Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and resilience of core systems through clustering, redundancy, load balancing and cloud native architectures.
- Monitor system performance, capacity, and environmental conditions.
- Minimize downtime through proactive monitoring and preventive maintenance.
- Monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) and vendor performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop data center and core systems personnel.
- Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and operational standards for data center and core systems management.
- Ensure all data center, cloud and core system operations comply with regulatory directives, cybersecurity standards, audit requirements and internal governance policy.
Job Requirement
First degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 9 years of relevant experience of which 3 years in supervisory level. Oracle Solaris Administration, Oracle SPARC Administration, Oracle Storage System Administration, Linux Administration and OpenStack Administration certifications are advantageous.
