Job Description
Essential Function
- Prepare statements of claim and defiance, declaration for affidavit and memorandum of appeal and report the court proceeding in the form prepared for that purpose.
- Attend court cases of the bank and ensure those summonses are served to defendants.
- Initiate process of execution of judgments and follow up cases decided in favor of the bank.
- Examine defaulting borrowers files referred, request and obtain updates statement of account and documents.
- Prepare legal notice to borrowers/mortgagers/pledgers and follow up whether it is served or not.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Job Requirement
Education: Law or any other related fields.
Work Experience: 5.5 years of experience in legal functions, preferably in banking industry.
Salary: As per the bank's scale.
Place of Work: Addis Ababa
